Answers to common questions about the new member profile view.

What features does the new member profile include?

Members can edit their profiles, find their invoices, and view their form submissions. For the full list of features, see New member profile view.

Do I need to set anything up for the new member profile to work properly?

If you have member types that don't renew, or that renew through a form, update the renewal settings in your member type settings. For the full setup steps, see Setting up the member profile view.

How can I expand the new member profile to be the full width of the page?

The profile information can't be expanded to full width.

Can I change the colors in the new member profile?

Yes. For details, see Setting up the member profile view.

Can I reorder how the attributes appear?

Yes, in Database > Profile Views. Drag and drop attributes to reorder them. This page autosaves your changes.

How can my users see their upcoming events?

When a user registers through an event form (with an events section) in MC Professional, the event appears in upcoming events. After the event date passes, the upcoming events container disappears.

Can I change how the renew now button works in a member's profile?

The renew button functions in one of three ways:

1. Hidden
2. Renew through profile (takes the member to their open renewal invoice)
3. Renew via URL (add the URL of the form they renew through)

Have the social features been updated as well?

No. Social features keep their existing menu and feature area.

My members do not use the continuing education option, how can I hide this tab?

Go to Database > Profile Views, and toggle off Enable Continuing Education Tab.

My members can view their form submissions, can they edit them too?

No. Members can view their form submissions, but they can't edit or print them.
