Setting up self-service member renewals
- Go to Database > Member Types.
- Select EDIT SETTINGS on the member type you want to edit.
- Under Renewal Settings, set auto renewals to off, required, or optional. Before you enable this option, confirm your payment processor supports auto-renewals. For more detail, see Auto-renew payments.
-
Select Define Renewal Paths to set whether members of this type can change to a different member type during renewal.
-
Toggle Renew from Member Profile on or off. If enabled, a dropdown menu appears with two options: members either generate an invoice and renew in their profile, or are redirected to a URL, such as your renewal form.
Setting up profile view settings
Go to Database > Profile Views.
Setting up this section is optional—edit it to customize the appearance of the member profile view.
In this section, you have three options:
- Toggle whether the continuing education tab is visible to members. If your organization doesn't manage or track continuing education credits, leave this toggle off.
- Change the menu, button, and font colors.
- Reorder the attributes that are visible to your members. Some default attributes (for example, member name) can't be reordered and don't appear on this list.
