Where are my old saved emails?
Select Back to Contact Center in the upper corner of the Contact Center to reach the previous version. There you can load, view, or copy your old saved emails, or send from the old Contact Center if you need to get something out quickly.
Can I bring my old saved emails into the current Contact Center?
No. The drag-and-drop editor builds optimized HTML behind the scenes so your emails render well across email clients and devices. Emails from the old Contact Center were built differently and can't be converted—doing so would undo the main benefit of the optimized code. Rebuilding an email once gives you a saved version with cleaner code and a better experience for your members.
Can I embed merge fields and Media Center content?
Yes. In any text element, select the Merge Tags dropdown in the toolbar to insert standard and custom profile attributes. To link to an MC Professional page or file, select Site Links in the lower corner of the editor and choose from your organization's links. For more, see Drag-and-drop content elements.
Can I edit the HTML of emails directly?
You can't edit the code of the pre-built drag-and-drop elements or the overall email HTML (you can export it for use elsewhere, but not edit it directly). For custom code, drag in an HTML element, which gives you full control over the HTML within it. There's no limit on how much content an HTML element holds or how many you use, but we recommend them sparingly—only for small widgets or advanced features you can't build with the drag-and-drop tools.
Why won't my image upload?
If you see a "Failed to upload image" error, confirm the file is a compatible type—JPG and PNG are the most common. Make sure the file name has no special characters and is under 25 characters long.
When will the old Contact Center be removed?
Eventually. We plan to migrate all customers to the current Contact Center, but that takes time to move email content over. As more customers move to the current version, we'll announce plans to retire the old one and reach out personally to anyone still sending from it. Even after it's removed, you'll keep an archive of all previously saved and sent messages—those are never deleted.
