Key contact attribute security controls what key contacts can view and edit. It covers their own profile as well as the organization and linked profiles they manage. This article covers how to read and change those permissions.
On this page
Opening key contact attribute security
Go to Database > Attributes, then select Key Contact Attribute Security.
Reading the permissions grid
The page shows one column for each organization member type in your database, with the full attribute list down the left.
Three permission levels apply:
- Can Edit lets key contacts see and change the attribute
- Can View lets key contacts see the contents without changing them
- Hidden, shown in red, prevents key contacts from seeing or changing the attribute
Changing permissions
Select the CHANGE ALL dropdown in an attribute row or a member type column to set permissions in bulk. To change one permission, select the cell and choose an option.
Note: By default, key contacts hold the same permissions as every other profile in their group. These settings grant them additional access to linked member profiles and to the organization profile.
