Overview
Built-in attributes are a pre-defined set of database fields assigned to every member. Built-in attributes include name, contact name, email address, address, phone number and organization. You can use attributes to customize your member database.
To configure built-in attributes
Navigate to Database > Attributes.
You can set each attribute to a required field by toggling Required to ON.
Click Edit Settings next to your built-in attributes to customize them further.
Name
The Name attribute should include a member's first and last name. This built-in attribute can also include middle name, middle initial, a prefix, or a suffix.
You can toggle on both the Prefix and Suffix options. Add your custom prefixes and suffixes in the New Prefix or New Suffix text field. Then, click ADD to add them to your list below. You can re-order your list of prefixes and suffixes by dragging them up or down. You can delete them by clicking the DELETE button underneath the Actions column.
Enable the Middle toggle to include middle names or middle initials.
Click SAVE in the bottom right corner of the page when you're finished.
Contact Name
The Contact Name attribute automatically populates with the full name of the member, located in the member's profile. You can edit this field in the member's profile to include a nickname or an AKA instead.
Click Edit Settings next to the contact name attribute. You can include the prefix, middle name, and suffix that you've setup in the Name built-in attribute. To do so, toggle these ON.
There isn't a required toggle for this attribute because a contact name is automatically generated for each profile.

You can only apply a label to one email address. The first field label in your list populates as the primary email address. A member can override this, and select a different primary email address in their profile. An admin can do the same by editing the member's profile. Click Set as Primary Email to set that email address as the member's primary email.
Click Edit Settings next to Email Address. Then, click Add an Email Label to add new email labels. Click the ADD button when you're finished. To re-order your labels, drag and drop them above or below another label. To delete any labels, click DELETE under the Actions column. Click SAVE when you're finished.
You cannot delete attribute labels that are currently in-use by a member profile.
