What is it?
The Account Settings tab allows you to configure several settings for your MC Professional product, including Time Zone, Membership Year, Notification settings, Billing Contact information, your Member Number preferences, and more.
How to Access
Navigate to Settings > Account Settings
Account Information
The first item on the Account Settings tab is the Account Information area. This area will show your organization's MC Professional account number, the number of Authorized Service Administrator profiles you have set up, and details on the number of custom and prospect profiles you are using vs. how many you have access to use.
Account Number? What's that?
MemberClicks classic accounts possessed account numbers, which were used to identify accounts. The majority of MC Professional accounts do not possess an Account Number, so you'll likely see '0' for your account number.
How do I identify my account?
Newer accounts use an organization ID. You can locate your organization ID by viewing your memberclicks.net web address, which should be the address in use when you're logged in as an ASA. It's at the top of your browser page, and the link will resemble the below.
In the above URL link, you'll notice 'gail' is listed before memberclicks.net. This is this account's organization id. Use this when contacting the help team in order to identify your account.
Organization Logo
The logo uploaded here is used by the system on all invoices as well as exports for Continuing Education credits. Click the Upload Logo button to upload your logo. You can also delete an existing logo by clicking Delete Logo.
Time Zone
Use the drop-down menu in this section to select your organization's time zone. Dates and times throughout the MC Professional system use this time zone.
Membership Year
Next, set the date on which your organization's membership year starts. The membership year starts at 12:00 AM on the date selected, and lasts for one full year through 11:59 PM on the day before a new membership year starts (ex. if your fiscal year ends on 12/31, set your Membership Year to 1/1). These dates and times are all within the time zone set above. MC Professional uses this membership year for reporting. NOTE: Your Membership Year is only editable by the MC Professional Help Team. If you need to change your Membership Year settings, please feel free to contact us.
Notifications
Under the Notifications section, enter the default From Name and Reply-to Email address for email notifications. NOTE: If left blank, the email will be set to notifications@memberclicks.com.
Billing Contact
To update your billing contact information, please reach out to our billing team.
Member Number
Profiles not in the prospect member type are automatically assigned a member number. If this option is toggled ON, the member number will be displayed in the profile. Each member, including profiles in an Organization Linked relationship, will have a unique Member Number.
You can also choose to Set the next member number using the link included. If you would like to set your members’ numbers so that they start in the hundreds or thousands rather than starting at one, click “Set the next member number” and enter the number from which you would like to start. In the example below, our membership numbers will start at 1000 and go up from there.
QuickBooks
If your organization uses Quickbooks, toggle this option ON. Toggling the option ON will change your view for Revenue Account set up, so that we can capture the information that is really important for QuickBooks (specifically, the name of the Revenue Account ex 40010 - Conference). NOTE: The name of your Revenue Account in MC Professional MUST exactly match your QuickBooks account name. We suggest copying and pasting directly from your QuickBooks account into the Revenue Account Name.
