Changing payment processors
Before you change payment processors - and if you would like to have the payment processor you're switching from removed from your MC Professional account - you need to disconnect it from all member types and forms still connected to it.

To disconnect a payment processor from a member type
1. Navigate to the Member Types tab from the Database module.
2. Hover over your member type, then click EDIT SETTINGS.
3. Under the Renewal Payment Settings section, select your new payment processor from the Payment Processor dropdown menu.
4. Repeat this step for each member type that's still connected to the payment processor.
To disconnect a payment processor from a form
1. Navigate to the Form List tab from the Forms module.
2. In the form list, hover over a form then click EDIT.
3. Scroll down to the Payment section, then click Properties.
4. On the left hand side, select your new payment processor from the Payment Processor dropdown menu.
5. Repeat this step for each form that's still connected to the payment processor.
To remove a payment processor from your account
Submit a request to our support team. Before you do so, please note:
Removing a payment processor from your account prevents members from making online payments on any forms or invoices still connected to that payment processor. Member profiles set to auto-renew need to manually renew on their next expiration date so they can reconnect their payment information.
In your support request, please advise:
- Which payment processor you are switching to.
- What to do with open invoices still connected to the payment processor you're switching from. Our support team can:
- Migrate these invoices to your new payment processor
- Void these invoices
- Permanently delete these invoices
In your support request, confirm you understand what happens when a payment processor is removed from your account, and provide the information outlined above. Once our support team has this documentation, they can remove the payment processor from your MC Professional account.
