Any time you update API credentials in your payment processor (Payroc, Authorize.net, or others), update them in MC Professional as well. Updating credentials in your payment processor without updating MC Professional severs the connection to your account.
Updating your credentials in MC Professional
- Go to Financial > Invoices.
- Select the Payment Processors icon in the top-right corner.
- Hover over the payment processor to update, then select EDIT.
- In the Edit Payment Processor window, enter your new credentials in the Username and Password or Security Key fields, then select SAVE.
Finding your API credentials
The Username and Password fields require your API credentials — not the login credentials you use to access your payment processor's portal. Sign in to your payment processor and locate the following fields:
| Processor | Username field | Password field |
|---|---|---|
| Payroc/NMI | N/A | N/A |
| Authorize.net | Name | Transaction Key |
Warning: Payroc is phasing out username and password authentication for Security Keys. See Updating Payroc/NMI credentials with Security Keys for details.
If you're unable to update your credentials after requesting a password reset from your payment processor, contact your payment processor to confirm your API credentials are correct.
