The profile list displays member profiles in list view. Use the Profile List page to add profiles to your database, run and save advanced searches, customize attribute columns, and tag profiles for bulk updates.

Adding profiles manually
In your admin dashboard, select Profile List. Then select Add an Individual or Add an Organization to add a profile to your member database.
In the Member Type dropdown menu, select which member type to add the new member to. When you manually add a profile:
- Dues for membership aren't charged
- You need to manually fill in the Expiration Date attribute
- You need to manually fill out all attributes in the member's profile
- A random password is generated for the member—select Reset Password in the member's profile to set a password for them
Instead of creating a profile manually, take a membership application form on behalf of the member. This gathers all the information you want to collect, populates the expiration date, and charges dues payments. For step-by-step instructions, see Taking a form on behalf of a user.
Running an advanced search
In the Profile List section, select the Advanced search by dropdown menu. Combine multiple search criteria to customize your search, and save a search to run it again in the future. Add any of the following criteria:
- Member Type
- Attribute
- Event
- Form
- Committee
- Last Login Date
- Unlinked Profiles
Select Run This Search to view your search results in the list below.
Saving your search results
After you run a search, select Save Search Criteria. A saved search is dynamic—each time you run it, the results update to reflect your current member database.
Next, use the dropdown menus to give your saved search a name and determine which attribute set it uses when displayed in your profile list.
If you tag members in your list and then select SAVE THIS LIST OF PROFILES, the list is static. Each time you view it, it displays the same profiles, regardless of any updates to your member database.
Accessing a saved search
Select the Manage Saved Searches dropdown menu. Select a saved search under the Search Criteria column, or a saved profile list under the Profile Lists column. Select Manage Saved Search to rename or delete a saved search or saved profile list, or to change your column headers.
To display a saved search on your front-end website, see Linking a saved search to a menu item.
Editing attribute columns
Select the Customize these attributes dropdown menu. By default, the profile list displays attributes attached to the System Default selection. Select Create a new attribute set to customize which attributes display in your profile list, then select Create New or Ad Hoc.
On the following page, select the Create a list of attributes to display dropdown menu and select which attributes to display in your profile list. Select just above the dropdown to close it, then give your new display set a name. Select SAVE to apply the attribute set to your profile list.
Tagging profiles and making bulk updates
From the Profile List, select TAG THIS PAGE or TAG ALL X. To tag profiles individually, select the checkbox on each row. The total number of tagged profiles displays on the page. Select the Actions dropdown menu to run bulk actions on your tagged profiles.
Tagged profiles remain tagged until you release them. Select UNTAG ALL, or select the UNTAG PROFILES AFTER AN ACTION checkbox. Untag profiles after you complete your task so they aren't still tagged for your next task.
