The dashboard is the landing page for members in CommUnity. It brings community activity together in one view.

The dashboard has 6 sections: Newsfeed, Community Tour, My Groups, My Bookmarks, Trending Tags, and Upcoming Events.
Newsfeed
The newsfeed shows what is happening in the community at a glance. Members view and respond to all newsfeed content, including forum topics, without leaving the dashboard. Content appears with its comments underneath, so entire conversations stay on one screen.
The newsfeed supports these actions:
- Create a post
- Reply to posts
- React to posts
- Edit or delete your own posts
- Copy direct links to posts
- Mark posts as objectionable
- Follow hyperlinks to files, groups, events, user profiles, organization profiles, and more
Posts you create in the newsfeed appear to the entire community and in your profile newsfeed. Use posts to ask questions or share ideas without creating a full forum post.

Community Tour
The community tour is a brief walkthrough of the community. It covers the newsfeed, your profile photo, your profile, the member directory, events, groups, and discussions. To launch the tour, select Get Started in the Take Community Tour section.
My Groups
Groups give smaller sets of members a dedicated space to connect, learn, share, and collaborate. The My Groups section lists the groups you belong to. Select a group name to open the group.
Groups sort by Member Count, from largest to smallest, by default. Change the sort order or use the search bar in the section to find a group.
My Bookmarks
Bookmark items throughout the community to open them from your dashboard. Select a bookmarked item in the My Bookmarks section to go directly to it. These item types support bookmarks:
- Groups
- Events
- Files
- Videos
- Discussions
Trending Tags
When a post or comment includes a hashtag, the hashtag appears in the Trending Tags section. Select a hashtag to open the search page with all posts and items related to that tag. The main search icon in the page header also searches for hashtags.
The Trending Tags section shows up to 10 hashtags from the past 14 days.
Upcoming Events
Events give members networking opportunities and more chances to engage with each other. The Upcoming Events section lists future events by date and time, with the soonest event first. It shows 2 events per page, with pages that reach up to 365 days out.
Use the search bar in the section to find a specific event. Select an event name to view its details.
To RSVP, select Going on an event. To change your RSVP, select the menu again and choose a different option. A checkmark shows your selected option.
To react to an event, point to Like to display the available reactions. The number of people who chose each reaction also appears.
