Convert text into a clickable button to guide visitors to:
- Another page on your website
- A specific section within a page (using an anchor link)
- An external website
- An email application
Note: Button colors and sizes are controlled by your site's default stylesheet. Changing these requires custom code. Contact our Support Team for help modifying button designs.

Open your article
Go to Website > Articles. Select New to create an article, or select an existing article to edit it. -
Create your hyperlink
Type the text you want to appear on the button, highlight it, then select the Insert/Edit Link icon. -
Add your destination
Enter your destination in the Link URL field, then select Update:- To link to a webpage: Paste the full web address or internal page path.
- To link to an email address: Enter the email address. Select Yes when prompted to add the "mailto:" prefix. This ensures the button opens the visitor's email application with the recipient field pre-filled.
- To link to a specific section: Enter your anchored URL. For step-by-step instructions, see Creating anchor links.

Format the text as a button
Keep the link text highlighted, select the formatting dropdown (which defaults to Paragraph), then select Heading 6.Note: The Heading 6 style automatically converts the text link into your system's styled button component on the live website. -
Save your changes
Select Save in the top right corner.
