Classroom - Creating Public Content

Offer Classroom content to the public by linking each course to an MC Professional form that non-members complete to create a profile.

Non-member learners need an MC Professional profile to access Classroom content. Non-members create a profile when they complete a form in MC Professional.

Create a course and package that you want to offer to the public. Then update the course details with a link to a new or existing MC Professional form. For more information on creating the course and package, see Classroom - Setup Step 1 - Determining Content.

Reuse the same form and update all of the packages that you want to make available to the public.

Identifying or creating an MC Professional form

Create, or copy an existing, MC Professional form for learners to complete. The form lets non-members create a profile and access the content. Updating the form confirmation page

After you configure the form, add a link that learners use to access the Classroom course after they register.

1. Scroll to the end of the form and select the Confirmation Page text box.

   

2. Make sure the element is enabled, then select Edit Confirmation Page.

   

3. Update the text to include a link to the Classroom course, using the hyperlink button.

   

4. Select Save.

As a best practice, add the package link to the confirmation email as well.

1. Select Confirmation Properties.

   

2. Make sure the toggle is enabled, then select Edit Confirmation Email.

   

3. Update the text to include a link to the Classroom course, using the hyperlink button.

   

4. Select Save.

Updating the Classroom course with a link to the form

After you identify or create the prospect form, update each course that you want to make available with a link to the form.

1. In Classroom, go to Learning Center > Courses.

   

2. Select the blue pencil icon for the course that you are configuring.

   

3. In the Long Description of the course, add a link to the MC Professional form using the insert link icon.

   

   

Learners can view the course, select the link to the form, complete the form, log in to Classroom, and begin the course.
