About tag pages
Each tag that you create in a package can represent one page on your site. The page displays all of the packages that have that tag. Then add the page to your menu.
Creating a page
- Go to the Packages area of the site and open a package.
- In the Tags area of the package, create a tag. The tag represents the page.
Adding a page to your menu
After you create a tag to represent a page, add the page to your menu.
- From the Admin Dashboard, select the Settings gear icon in the menu bar.
- On the next page, scroll to the bottom and select the Menu Builder link.
- Select the plus icon under the Course List menu item to create a drop-down menu item beneath it.
- Name the new menu item. The name that you enter is what users see in the menu on your site.
- Select the link icon under the new menu item.
- In the list of pages on your site, select the checkbox for the page. Any tags that you created are listed by the name of the tag.
- Select the orange Save button on the Menu Builder page.
Note: To add a new top-level menu item instead of a drop-down item, first select the orange Add button, then continue with the steps that follow.
On your site, the new menu item appears. A drop-down item appears when users point to the existing menu item. A new top-level item displays alongside the existing items. Selecting the item opens a page that displays all packages with that tag.
