If members tell you they can't access or appear in your member directory, the cause is almost always your Group Attribute Security or your directory settings. This article walks through both.
On this page
Group attribute security
Navigate to Database > Attributes > Group Attribute Security. Select the affected member's group from the Select Group dropdown. Set any attribute you want visible for this group to Can View by hovering over the individual cell. Each column is divided by member type, so you can customize which member types this group can and can't see. Repeat for each of your member groups as needed.
For more detail, see Attribute Security.
Directory settings
Navigate to Community > Directory, hover over your directory, and select Edit.
The Select Member Types to include in Search Results and Select Attribute to include in Search Results dropdowns both affect your results. Select all the member types you want searchable in the first dropdown. If you enable a qualifying attribute in the second, a member must meet that attribute's criteria to be searchable.
