If your site uses the Site Search tool, you can index files in your Media Manager to make them publicly searchable through your website's search box.
Note: Site Search must be installed on your MC Professional site before you can index files. To request installation, contact the Help Team at help@memberclicks.com.
To index files
- Go to Website > Media Manager.
- Select Media Search Indexes in the top right corner.
Note: Only PDF files under 150 MB can be indexed at this time.
Index an individual file
- Select Create to the right of the file you want to index.
- Complete the Title, Subject, Description (optional), and Keywords fields.
- Select Save.
Index multiple files at once
- Select the checkboxes next to up to 5 files you want to index.
- Select Index Selected Files in the top right corner.
Once indexed, a green check appears in the Indexed column and the file becomes searchable on the member-facing side of your website.
Note: If the indexed status does not update, clear your cache or refresh the page using the icons in the top right of the indexing tool.
