Q: How should I test my Form?
A: The most important thing you can do when building your form is completing a sample submission and then logging in as a Reviewer to ensure all necessary fields are displayed correctly. This is extra critical because you want to ensure you are capturing your data correctly from the onset even though the review process often comes much later.
Q: Do all fields need to be in the Review Panel Section of my form?
A: All fields you wish Reviewers or Review Leads to see must be in the Review Panel Section and they must be the special "Review Panel Submission Text" or "Review Panel File Upload" Form Fields. Alternatively, if you want ALL fields and attributes in the Review Panel Section to display to Reviewers, toggle on "Display form fields in Review Panel Section to Reviewers" under Properties.
Q: Can I have a Review Panel with my annual conference form?
A: Yes, you can certainly include a Review Panel form section with your event form. Note that you can only have one Review Panel section per form.
Q: What is the difference between a Reviewer and Review lead?
A: The Review Lead was designed for Session Chairs or other non-Administrator Event Planners. Review Leads can see the average score and can apply labels to submissions (i.e. "Selected Speaker" or "Wednesday Morning Session Speaker"). This allows Review Leads to make decisions based on reviewers' scores and comments and easily communicate these decisions to Admins.
Reviewers, on the other hand, can only see their own score, and cannot modify, apply, or remove labels.
Q: How do I permission Reviewers and Review Leads?
A: This is a two-step process:
1) In the Form Builder, select the Reviewer and Review Lead Groups who should be able to see that individual form, and
2) Create a Menu Item (under Website > Menu Items) to allow Reviewers and Review Leads to access the forms to review (there should be a separate menu item for Reviewers and Review Leads)
Q: Can a Member be a Reviewer and a Review Lead?
A: Yes, absolutely. As a reviewer, they can score each submission individually, and as a Review Lead they will see the average of all scores. You can control which view they see via separate Menu Items.
Q: Can I collect submissions after the deadline has passed?
A: Yes, as an admin you can complete the form on behalf of members once the official submission deadline has passed. You can also extend the deadline at any time.
Q: Can entries be deleted?
A: Yes, admins can delete Review Panel entries by deleting the original form submission.
Q: Can you assign specific judges to specific submissions?
A: You can manually assign submissions to specific Reviewers using the Label feature (Apply a label for each Reviewer and instruct them use the Filter option on the left to see their assigned submissions), but you cannot assign specific submissions to specific Reviewers so that they see ONLY those submissions.
Q: Can members also renew when submitting?
A: Yes, if you enable the Membership Section on a Review Panel form, your members can submit their entry and also join or renew (if applicable).
Q: Can I export my submissions?
A: You can export all necessary data (Submission fields, Review data, and Attached files) via the Review Panel menu. This can be accessed via the Submission List by clicking on the number under the submissions column, then clicking the Review Panel icon near the top right.
Q: What is the max file size supported for a Review Panel File Upload field?
A: 25mb
Q: What file types are supported for a Review Panel File Upload field?
A: PDF, DOC, DOCX, and JPEG - If you need to collect video submissions, we recommend uploading to a 3rd party eg. YouTube or Vimeo and then including the link to the video in the submission.
