The Custom Template Editor allows you to build and customize templates using a drag-and-drop interface. This guide will walk you through the process step by step, providing visual aids and troubleshooting tips to ensure a smooth experience.
Note: The custom template editor is only available on Pro plans.
Your template consists of Structures, which define the layout (e.g., one-column vs. two-column). Each structure can include Blocks, which allow you to insert specific content. Blocks are categorized as:
- Dynamic Blocks (Green): Smart Newsletter-specific modules that pull in scheduled or aggregated content from the dashboard. These update automatically based on your inputs.
- Static Blocks (Grey): Hardcoded content that remains unchanged once placed in the template.

Understanding Structures and Blocks
- Structures define the framework of your template (e.g., single-column, two-column layouts).
- Single Column: A full-width layout, ideal for simple text and images.
- Two Column: A split layout, perfect for combining text and media side by side.
- Blocks are content elements placed inside structures.
- Dynamic Blocks (Green): These Smart Newsletter-specific blocks update automatically with scheduled content or aggregated content from sources provided by you in the dashboard.
- Static Blocks (Grey): These remain fixed once added.
