How do you alter the front-end user/member search options?

Hi Jen - I'm not sure what you're referring to. Right now, the only available search option for members to use on the website is the Advanced Search. If that's not what you're referring to, you may want to email help@memberclicks.com so that the help Team can address your question quickly.

I don't seem to have access to the Community/Directory Templates option. Is this only for associations whose accounts have been upgraded on the Admin side?

Lisa - Yes, this article is for customers using the new MemberClicks platform. The corresponding article for Classic is viewable here.

What do I need to click to view my directory?

Hi Dana - First, take a look at your Main Menu (Website > Menu Items > Main  Menu) and look to see if there is a menu item with the Type "MemberClicks >> View All." If so, navigate to the front end/member side of your site (Website > View My Site) and click on that menu item to see the Directory.

If not, you'll want to add a link to the Member Directory as a Menu Item or a Site Link from an Article. This article will show you how to create a menu item, and this one will show you how to create a site link from within an Article on your site. Feel free to reach out to the Help Team by phone at 404-879-2800 if you'd like for them to walk you through it over the phone!

Is there a way to assign directory templates by group, rather than member type? We only want one subset of child profiles to be able to view a particular template.

Hi Jen - At this point, Directory Templates are only able to be assigned based on Member Type. If you have product feedback about this or would like to see it work differently in future, please use this link to tell us more. We would love to hear from you!
