    I just added something to the community forum and the subject line had this title: Some key questions that potential bidders want answered in FirstNet’s RFP but it ended up looking like this: =?ANSI_X3.4-1968?Q?A_message_has_been_posted_for_Some_key_questions_th?= =?ANSI_X3.4-1968?Q?at_potential_bidders_want_answered_in_FirstNet=3Fs_RFP?=

    Recipients might have thought it was spam.  Is there any way to remedy this?  Was there too much in the Subject Line?

    Hi Amy - It looks like you're using our Classic product - this documentation is for the new platform. That said, the issue you experienced sounds strange, and isn't one I've seen before in either platform. I'm going to open you a ticket with the Help Team for troubleshooting - you can expect to hear back soon!

    What goes in the big box? Comments or a description of the forum?

    What about the comments box? Comments on my comment?

    Also on the previous page the "new topic" buttons are blacked out and only are viewable if I hover over them with my mouse. May I have this fixed?

    I hit preview and the screen went blank. I expected to see a preview of the forum post I created.

    I'm on the old platform right now and have a question.

    I'm being asked to move a TOPIC from one forum to another forum. Is this a possibility?

    Hi Michele - Yes, that is possible. To move a Topic, sign in as an ASA and navigate to the forum on the front end of the site, like a member would. Click into the Topic you want to move. From there you'll see a "Move Topic" option. After clicking on it, you can select the forum you want to move the topic to.

    Hi, I have two questions - First, my users are asking about posting images in the forum.  It's no trouble to add an image as an attachment, but when they click on the icon in the editor, that doesn't seem to work.  It doesn't display the image, nor does it create a clickable link.  Question #2 - is there a way to mark a post as "read" so it doesn't come up in the "Latest Posts" area?  My users are very forum-focused (from our previous platform) so they are looking for functionality they had before. Thanks

    Hello Sue! You can see the [img] tag is being inserted, which stands for Image; that's creating HTML code that will then upload your user's image once they submit their post. If that is not the case, please let us know at help@memberclicks.com

    Regarding marking posts as "read", there is not the functionality for that at this time. If that's something your users are interested in, please send some feedback to our Product Team! We're always going through feedback to see how we can enhance the product to better meet everyone's needs.

    Can Admins archive posts?  I can see we can delete them, but our client wants to have a searchable "knowledge base" of past discussions.  (Right now they are using a 3rd party software.)

    Also, can Admins "pin" a post to the top of a forum?  Like "Read this first!" or "Top 10 FAQs"?

    Hello SBI! There is not an "Archive" option in the Forums, nor is there a "pin" action. Those sound like awesome ideas, though, so be sure to leave us some feedback!

    If a member is in the "lapsed" category, do they continue to receive forum notifications?

    Hey there Andrea! They do not continue to receive any notification from the system with the exception of any Lapsed Renewal Notifications you may have set-up.

    If you include a Lapsed Member in your Recipient List, they will receive a Contact Center message. So the Contact Center is completely contingent on who you've selected to send to. I hope that helps!
