Hi Everyone,
Following up on a post we made earlier this year, there have been additional changes made by Yahoo in how they are handling mass-emails sent from yahoo.com addresses. If your organization uses its own domain for emailing from the Contact Center, this does not apply to you. However, if your organization uses a Yahoo, Gmail, AOL, etc. address for emailing from the Contact Center, please keep reading.
If you are sending E-mail through MemberClicks and are currently using a Yahoo E-mail address in the “Reply To” field inside Contact Center, those E-mails will be rejected as bounces. This is a global change made by Yahoo that will impact any E-mail product or service. We expect that other large E-mail providers, such as Gmail and AOL, will soon follow suit with similar changes.
To avoid this problem, we suggest that all MemberClicks clients use their custom domain for Contact Center messages. Using an email address associated with your organization's domain is the best practice. If you do not have E-mail through your domain, please let us know and we can assist in getting that set up for you. If you have any additional questions feel free to contact us at help@memberclicks.com or by phone: 404.879.2800, Monday - Thursday 9AM - 8PM Eastern, Friday 9AM - 6PM Eastern.
