Hi Everyone,
With the recent news of the Heartbleed security vulnerability, we wanted to assure you that this vulnerability does not affect your MemberClicks service. All traffic is routed through a Cisco load balancer that does not employ OpenSSL, which is the source of the vulnerability. OpenSSL is a toolkit used by about two-thirds of the internet to serve secure content and processes.
If this is the first time you're hearing of the Heartbleed vulnerability, take some time to read up on it because it affects a wide range of services and sites that you use everyday. A Google search for "Heartbleed" will give you many results. In general, you will want to confirm that sites you frequent have patched the issue and update your credentials with each of those services.
Although the Heartbleed vulnerability does not apply to MemberClicks, our team is taking additional precautionary measures to guard against other threats. As always, security and reliability are our top priorities.
If you have any specific questions, feel free to email us at help@memberclicks.com and we'll help in any way we can.
