Contact Center/E-list Messages Delayed

    We are still experiencing some delays with Contact Center and E-list messages.  The Message Report intermittently isn't loading.  Our Engineers are continuing to work on these issues.

    We apologize for the inconvenience.  Another announcement will be provided once we have an update.

    Right now any new Contact Center messages should go as normal.  We are still working through the backlog of E-List messages and all of the e-list messages that are waiting to go out should complete overnight.  Once those are cleared then the E-List messages should be back to normal as well.

     Summation of what happened and what is being done to address this issue and prevent it from happening again:

     We've been having some E-List issues over the past few days.  Some of these problems seems to be causing the message module issues, which includes Contact Center messages as well.  We're still working to determine the cause but it seems to be related to the amount of spam email that is clogging up E-List and causing the processor to hang up.  We're working to add a spam filter to the front of the E-List system to help block these messages which will help prevent delays caused by a high number of spam messages.

    Another issue deals with the amount of time it's taking to query the db to look for existing and duplicate messages.  We've identified some db changes that will help this and will be implementing this tonight.  

    Once again we apologize for any inconvenience and or confusion that these messaging issues might have caused.

    This issue has now been resolved and all queued messages have been sent.  We apologize for any inconvenience this may have caused and thank you for your continued patience while we worked through this issue.
