Thanks, this is a helpful overview.  However it is disappointing that the system pages like Event Calendar, Community Forum, SC, Forms, and My Profile will not be responsive.  Those are more heavily trafficked than the article pages.  When do you think MC will look into making all parts of the website responsive? Thanks!

Hi Yumi - Thanks for your feedback! Incorporating system pages into the responsive experience will require a much more extensive architectural effort, but is on our roadmap for update in the future (although I don't have a timeline today). We found in our initial conversations with customers that the benefit of having the overwhelming majority of the site in a responsive format out weighed delaying a further implementation for our customers to include system pages. With that in mind, we are continuing to work on improving this initial template along with providing more options. We look forward to hearing more of your feedback as we move forward. Thanks again and have a great day!

Can you swap from one template to another? This one wasn't available when we joined.

Hi Kinsey, to follow up on your comment about the Community Forum in particular:
One of our committee leaders expressed to our leadership that the current offering (in his view) is not "contemporary" so my sense is that the look-and-feel would be helpful to bring up-to-date. He did like the responsive template. Do you have an anticipated timeline now for incorporating system pages in the responsive experience?

Hi Nancy - With the release of our new platform in April 2015, we are no longer enhancing the Classic platform. The system pages in the new platform are mobile optimized, though, so upgrading to the new system might benefit your organization. We've created this PDF about Everything You Need to Know About the MemberClicks Upgrade with additional details if you're interested in learning more!

    Hi Kinsey,

We transitioned to a responsive template, but are we still using the Classic platform? Sorry for my confusion. I looked at your list and think we didn't know that as part of that change in appearance, an entire platform switch might have been something to consider (with its added features vs. limitations on carrying over some items such as profile photos or messages).

Regarding my initial question about the look-and-feel of forums, could you please share a screen shot of what forums look like in the new platform??

    Thanks,

    Nancy

Nancy - Yes, you are still using the Classic platform. The community features work very similarly (really almost identically) to the way that they did in Classic, including the forum. I've included a screenshot of the desktop view of the forum below, and a few from my iPhone. Based on my testing, the forum isn't truly mobile optimized (it doesn't look different on desktop vs. mobile), though it does function on mobile well.

Thanks, Kinsey, for the added views. I'm trying to investigate the options, so I put in a help request to investigate what you've said offline concerning our site.

    Best,

    Nancy
