Good improvement - I'm sure our members will find it useful, but they'll still ask why it's limited to two weeks.

I am not getting "Keep Me Logged In" box option on my page.  I've cleared my history and cache.

    Hi Ross,

I'm going to open up a ticket on your behalf so we can follow up with you.

    Best,

Janee - I'm glad you like the new functionality! One thing you can always remind members is that they will be logged in for two weeks from the date of their last activity. So, if a member logs in, then revisits the site 12 days later, the 14 day countdown will start over again. This way, members can remain logged in almost constantly, as long as they check back in to the website every two weeks or so. I hope that helps!

Kinsey - that is really great to know. I sent an Admin notice to our members before I read this page fully, so forgot to tell them about not logging out when they leave the page. This extra information might be enough for me to include both details in a follow-up notice. Thanks!

This is a wonderful addition, and I'm very glad to have it. I don't know how much it'll matter to my end users, but just for me personally, when I'm in and out of the site all day, I get frustrated with it timing me out when I'm working on a page/email for too long. Which it would do, at random, so that I was always copying my HTML before I saved, just in case.

This is going to save me immense headaches.

Katherine - That's great to hear! Thanks for the compliment - I've passed it on to the rest of the team.

Does closing the browser or letting the computer go to sleep cancel this feature? I haven't seen it work the way it's described, either for front-end member login or admin login on the back end.

The system will log you out if you're using Chrome, but not Firefox for some reason- perhaps that's why you are having issues Denise? I have noticed that problem myself. I don't know about other browsers, but perhaps that is why you're having the problems with logging out like I do.

On the admin side, and using Chrome, I am always logged out even when I select "keep me logged in".  I brought this up in a phone call a while back and all I was told was that this should work well in chrome.  I guess just not on mine.
