Why am I (and all of my members) receiving double e-mail notifications when I post to the E-List?

    Hi Mona,

I've opened up a ticket for you so we can take a closer look.

My account 'dpolatty' is member of Executive Board Group.  I do not have 'Post a New Message' icon on Planning Committee eList although members of the Planning Committee group do.  What am I missing?

Hi Deborah, I see what's going on here and I'll open up a ticket for you to explain the details.

Does a document need to be uploaded into the Media Mananger before uploading it into an eList post?  eList members are unable to open attachments; getting an upload error.

Deborah - Attachments do not need to be uploaded to the media manager first; you should be able to upload them right to the message.  Please open a ticket with the Help Team and make sure to include the error details... we'll see what's going on.

Can I create a link on the member landing page that will take them directly to the subscribe to elist feature. it seems any link I see has a userid in it

I find it strange that when I am viewing an E-list, there is no easy navigation to get back to my other E-lists unless I hit back on the browser or navigate back to My Profile and through My Features again.  Our organization has several E-lists to segment communication and give members more choice on which messages they want to receive so most members will subscribe to more than one and it would be nice to be able to navigate between them with ease.

    Hi Mark and Norell,

    Mark,

Using our site link feature, the closest we can get to creating a link to the E-List feature would be to link a member to either their 'my profile' or 'my community' page. While our site links can take members to some of the main profile tabs, it cannot link to a profile's sub-tab, such as the E-List tab. As you have no doubt discovered, attempting to insert a direct link to the E-List page causes a permission issue, as the original link is tied to a specific user. For now, linking a member to their profile tab with instruction on how to access their E-List tab would be your best bet.

    Norell,

I can certainly pass a suggestion to see this potentially changed along. In the mean time, I would suggest for you to place this request on our feature request page. We have members of our design team that comb over this page, and many system updates have come about due to suggestions made by our members that first appeared in this section. I'll provide you with a link to this page below.
