What happen to security and restrictions feacture

    Hi Antonio,

The permissions for polling are not available in the new CMS because this feature has been changed to provide very simple website polls.  For more complex needs such as permissions, field logic, and field type flexibility (including open ended questions), I would recommend creating a basic form to build a survey.

You can assign menu item permissions to a poll, but this would not put the permission on the poll itself.

How can I give permission to the admin group so that they can create and modify polls?  At the moment, it seems only ASA's can do it for my organization.

How do you change the font on a poll?  When I click to edit there doesn't appear to be an option to do so.   The text on my poll is scrunched up with the font that is selected.

Hi Jennifer - The polls use standard fonts/colors from your site's CSS file, so you don't have any direct options of changing it.  I did, however, make a quick change so it's not scrunched up.

Can Administrators have access to polls? At the moment only I, the ASA, can get it, but I want one of my Administrators to be able to access it.

For some reason I can only get one of my poll options to show on the website. I have two that I would like to advertise. Can I have more than one poll option at a time, and if so, what is it that I am doing wrong?

Odd. The second poll will not show up on the main page, but once I have selected an option from the first poll, I am taken to another page with results. From there, there is a pull-down mean that shows the second poll question. Not exactly what I had in mind though...

Anyone able to offer any help on this?

The pull-down does show the second poll (as I stated above), but a person cannot vote.

    Hi April,

I took a look at your site and saw the link on your home page leading directly to the first poll. I went ahead and set up an article called Polls, and replaced the link on the home page with that article. This way, Members can see both polls pulled in to one article. I did this using the Site Links tool, which you can learn more about by clicking here.

Thanks for the information. I didn't realize there would be an extra 2 or 3 steps involved since the first poll showed up where I wanted it to without the extra configuration. Thanks again.

can I limit one vote per member?  And hide the results

Hi John - The poll functionality doesn't allow for those customizations, so my recommendation would be to build a basic type form instead. That way, you can require log in and limit submissions to one per member, and have the results viewable by admins only. If you have questions, email help@memberclicks.com and we'll be happy to assist!

The results are not displaying when I click the "results" button.
