I would like to use this, but can't get around two obstacles. Perhaps you could educate me?

    1) Can we select an option which notifies an admin (by email, for instance) that an invalid profile is awaiting his/her action? As I see it now, X number of people could take a form which sets them to invalid, but I would not know to check and validate them.

    2) Can we make it so that when an admin sets a user to valid, that validated user receives an email? From my testing, it seems that when a user completes the form, they receive a confirmation email. When I validate the user, they receive no notification (and I cannot see where I can set this notification up). I'd rather the confirmation email not go out until they are 'confirmed' (validated).

Thank you, in advance, for helping me to understand this better.

    Cheers,

    a

Hi Ashely - You can setup notifications when a new user is added as invalid by doing one of the following: 1. add the notification email address under Database > Communication Settings > "Validation"; 2. add the notification email address in the confirmation email notification box so this person will receive an email each time the form is submitted.

At this time there are no automatic messages that send out upon validation, you'll need to send those manually through the Contact Center.  This is a great area for improvement though and there is an idea posted regarding it here.

I created a form by copying a form you guys made, so I didn't get the wizard.

Now I can't edit the Membership Application Settings because they don't appear on my Settings screen at all.

I took a screen shot of the Settings screen from another form that does have Membership Application settings and tried setting everything the same, but still don't see that section.

    Help!

Looking around more, I'm worried that the form I copied isn't an "application type form". I've spent ~3 hours on this form. Is there any way to change it into an "application form" so that I can add people who fill it out to a group in the database?

    Hi Audrey,

It sure sounds like the form is not an application type form.  Please submit a ticket to help@memberclicks.com and we should be able to switch the form type for you on the back-end.  Be sure to include the form name and the folder it's in.
