What are they?
Form fields: areas used to gather information on a form. Form fields differ from attributes in that they are only stored in the form receipts for the specific form they appear on, while attributes are saved within the member profile upon submission of a form.
Attributes: information stored in your MemberClicks database. Attributes appear separately from Fields in the form editor. Fields can be linked to Attributes so that your database is kept as up to date as possible.
How to Access
Under Forms, you can create a new form by clicking on Create Form, or edit an existing form by selecting Form List
The Fields menu (on the right) will show you all types of fields that can be added to the form.
Adding Fields or Attributes to a Form
Simply click and drag the field or attribute from the right bar menu to the form canvas to create a new field or attribute on the form. Before dropping the item onto the form, wait for this dashed grey line to appear, signifying that the field has 'grabbed on' to the form. Once you see that line, let off your left mouse button, and the field will display.
After you have dropped the field on the form, you will be able to modify the properties of that field by clicking on the field label.
