What is it?
Linking an event registration form to an event will create a clickable link from the Event Details page directly to the Event Registration form.
How to Access
Navigate to Forms > Form List
Click the Edit link next to the form that you wish to link to the event.
Linking an Event Registration Form to an Event
Click the Settings link in the upper right hand corner of the page.
Choose the event from the Event Registration Settings "Link to Event" drop-down. Select the event you want to link the form to, then Save.
After selecting to link the form to an event, this clickable link will appear at the bottom of the event listing. Note: This function will only be available on Event Registration type forms. No other form types have the capability of being linked to events.

This is helpful. Is there a way to link a form to a different page within the site?
Hi Christopher,
Yes, please see this article: https://help.memberclicks.com/entries/86680-creating-links-to-other-pages-within-the-product. When you are inserting a site link, you will see all of the active forms in the drop down list.
I was able to link the Members' Registration Form for our annual conference to my calendar event, but could not find the "Event Registration Settings" in the Non-members' Registration Form for our annual conference. Why would that dialog box be hidden and how can I find it?
Just did a test form and made the link to a calendar event during set up. When I go to settings now, that dialog box is hidden.
1) Why - what if we change our minds?
2) if I delete the test form, will the calendar event also be deleted?
Thanks.
I've developed an event with an affiliated event registration/rsvp form. When I developed the form it automatically put in information about the event from the original event. Is there a way to automatically reflect event updates made on the event calendar in the registration form? I have no problem going into the html, but many of my chapter leaders who do a lot of event creation are not as comfortable with that piece - anyway to directly link?
Thanks!
Hi Kristen - At this time the event details on a form aren't linked to the details in the actual event. Any changes made to the event itself would also need to be made on the form, and vice-versa. I definitely like the idea though! When I create event registration forms, I generally try to leave out all the details. I figure if someone gets to the registration step, they must know what the event is about. I put the event name as a title on the top of the form, or something similar.
How can I put a link to a form in an email? I only want select people to be able to register by invitation?
Never mind. I got it. :-)
I have clicked the box on my form page for an event, and I get the name of the event in the box on the form page. However, I can't get the link to the form to show up on the Event Page. I know I have done this before but it's been several months and I can't remember the trick. Can you help?
Hi Linda,
In order to discuss this issue with you in a bit more detail, I am going to open a ticket with you. Expect to hear from me soon!
Thanks Chris, it's really embarrassing as I have done this before but I can't seem to get it to work today! I'm in a meeting from 1:30 to 3:00 but will be available after 3:00. Many thanks,
Linda
