If marked as inactive, do they count as part of the package limits?

Joseph - Yes, inactive members do count towards the custom or basic contact profile number listed under Package Limits on your Admin Home screen.

When a profile is inactive, after a certain amount of time does it get deleted?

Marisa - Profiles that are set to inactive will remain there until they're manually purged or deleted.

When inactive profiles log in, it should take them to a membership renewal page, right?

Stephanie - When an inactive profile logs in, they'll receive a message that their profile has been marked inactive and that they should contact their administrator. Because everyone's renewals and groups are configured differently, there isn't a way to direct those users to a specific page based on their login. If an inactive member attempts to log in to a renewal form, they will be allowed to access it. You can edit the login page text under Website > Widget Manager > Custom Login Page content if you want to let people know that inactive members need to "click here" to renew.

When a user logs in and find that their account has been inactivated, is there a way to edit the text in the red box that pops up (Your profile has been marked inactive…)?

Hi Porsche - That message is system generated, so it looks the same for all of our customers and isn't able to be edited. You can add text above or below the Username and Password boxes on your login page by navigating to Website > Widget Manager - the widgets to edit are called "Custom Login Page Text (Lower Half)" and "Custom Login Page Text (Top Half)."

That's what I thought.  Thanks for the speedy reply!

Is there a way to have the inactive profiles automatically be moved to inactive once the memberships expire? And if so, then once they sign on to renew, the above comments say they need to contact an administrator, so if that's still correct, then they would not be able to register until the admin moves them to active again, is that correct? Thank you. Christine Steele

    Hi Christine,

Yes, there is certainly a way to make your members automatically move to inactive once they expire. As this answer may be a bit extensive, however, I am going to open a ticket with you in which I will send you my full reply. You should be hearing from me soon!
