Launched in late 2019, the MemberClicks Mobile app can be used by MC Professional Admins on site at events to process payments via a Payroc credit card swiper, view your registrant list, and check-in attendees.
Due to extremely low usage since the COVID-19 pandemic all but ended larger in-person events, the mobile app has been maintained only on the original mobile software development kit (SDK) that it was originally built on in 2019. This version is no longer supported by the app providers (both Apple and Android), and therefore no further updates or enhancements can be made to the app as it is currently built. As of September 2021, the app is currently functioning on the latest operating system versions, but future OS upgrades may cause the app to become unstable or unusable, and we are unable to to address those problems if they do occur.
We will continue to support any existing customers who are still using the app in the form of setup/usage support and basic troubleshooting. However, at this time we are unable to make any fixes or changes to the app in the case that a device or OS version causes issues.
We recognize that despite the continued waves and variants of COVID-19, the need for an admin-facing mobile app for event check-ins and payments will become more important as in-person events return. As we move into 2022, the Personify product team is working on a larger mobile strategy to provide modern, easy-to-use mobile options for all of our customers.
