This article will walk through the metrics shown in the Member Engagement tab of the profile.
What is it?
The Member Engagement tab in each profile shows data points about that member's interaction with your organization. For organizational profiles, the engagement tab will show a roll up of averages for all profiles linked to that organization.
How can I use this information?
This data is great to help assist in customer service efforts, such as when a member calls in and you pull up their profile to get more insights - now you have at-a-glance data to give you a high-level understanding of their interaction with your organization to better assist them with whatever their needs may be, to thank them for their many years of membership, or to easily discuss other ways they could become more involved ("I see you haven't come to any events yet - Here's a discount code for the upcoming webinar!")
Additionally, this data is helpful to understand the ways in which certain members are or are not engaging with your organization, so you can take targeted steps to get them more involved and increase their likelihood to remain a member.
How are the numbers calculated?
Engagement Score - this is a weighted calculation based on a breakdown of three key areas of engagement in your data: Event Registration/Attendance, Login Activity, and Email Open rates. You can configure how heavily each of these metrics weighs in the overall score of your members, and then run the report to calculate your members' score. Years Active - If member is active, it will show years based on today's date minus the Join Date. If member is lapsed, it will show years based on lapsed date minus Join Date. The years displayed only show in whole year increments, so anything less than one year will show a zero. Any profile without a Join Date filled in will show a dash in this area to indicate lack of data.
Revenue Collected - Amount paid from any paid or partially paid invoice. Orgs include current or past Linked members
Total Logins - Number of times a profile has logged in since July 1, 2019, when we began tracking unique logins in the system. Org profiles display a percentage of linked profiles that have logged in since July 1, 2019.
Emails Opened - Percentage of all emails opened out of all emails sent
Email Clicked Through - Percentage of total unique clicks of all links in emails sent
Events Registered - Number of events with Registered status. Org profiles display percent of linked profiles with at least one event with Registered status
Events Attended - Number of events with Attended status. Org profiles display percent of linked profiles with at least one event with Attended status
Forms Submitted - Number of forms submitted. Org profiles display the number of forms submitted from both the Org profile and any past or current linked profiles
Active Committees - Number of active user positions on active committees. Org profiles display the number of linked profiles currently holding an active user position on an active committee
Total Committees - Number of past user positions. Only displayed for individual profiles.
Total Credits - Number of CE credits. Org profiles display total of all credits across all linked profiles.
Credit Hours - Number of credit hours. Org profiles display total of all credit hours across all linked profiles.
