This article has been created to address some common questions and concerns regarding new member profile for users.
What features does New Member Profile include?
New member profile allows users the ability to easily edit their profiles, find their invoices, view their form submissions and more. Click here for the full list of features.
Do I need to set anything up for New Member Profile to work properly?
If you have member types that do NOT renew OR they need to renew through a form, you will want to update the renewal settings in their member types. Click here for the full list of set-up steps.
How can I expand New Member Profile to be the full width on the page?
Unfortunately, due to limitation on the container that new member profile lives in, there is NOT a way to expand the information to be full width.
Can I change the colors in New Member Profile?
Yes. Navigate to the new "Profile Views" tab under Database to make changes to the colors in new member profile.
Can I reorder how the attributes appear?
Yes! Navigate to the new "Profile Views" tab under Database and drag and drop to reorder attributes. Please note that the page saves as you go. You will not need a save button to update the changes.
How can my user's see their upcoming events?
When a user registers through an event section in a form through MC Professional, that event will appear in upcoming events. Once the event date has passed, the upcoming events container will disappear again.
Can I change how the "renew now" button works in a member's profile?
Yes! You can set the renew button to function one of three ways:
- Hide renew now button
- Renew through profile (this feature just takes user to their open renewal invoice)
- Renew via URL (you can add the URL of the form they need to renew through)

Have the social features been updated as well?
No. When you navigate to the social features, you will not see an updated menu or feature area. There are no plans at this time to update our current social features.
My members do not use the continuing education option, how can I hide this tab?
Navigate to "Profile Views" under the Database tab, and make sure the continuing education option is off.
My members can view their form submissions, can they edit them too?
Not at this time. Users can view their form submissions, however these submissions are not yet editable nor printable.
