You can copy similar fields to save you time and also, to minimize errors.
Some common times you will need to copy fields are:
- Moving fields from one section to another.
- When using Group Registration and copying fields from the main registrant to the guest registrant.
Moving Fields Between Sections
Sometimes, you may have unknowingly adding sections in the wrong section of the form. Instead of deleting all the fields in that section, you can copy the fields into the correct section.
- First, you must rename the fields in the incorrect section (Usually you can just add another character such as a number). This is to ensure you get to correctly name the fields in the correct section as duplicate field names are not allowed.
- Next, click on the correct section where you want fields copied to. Click on the blue "Copy Field" button within that section.
- In the screen after clicking the button, you can select the field you want copied. The columns are divided alphabetically by Section and Field Name. The last column lets you know the field type.
- Click "Copy Selected Field".
- Next, name the field with the correct field name and click Save.
- Click on the correct section where you saved the newly copied field and you will see the field there.
- Finally, delete the incorrect field from the old section.
Group Registration - Copying Fields from the Main Registrant
